Vintage money box

Gorgeous little vintage, handmade wooden money box which I found in an antique shop in my local town. Somebody has loved this a lot in the past and I wanted to bring it back to life.  The base unscrews (I've kept the original screws in it - there are only three but I'll be looking for another to match, however it does close!).  
 
Painted in my usual hardwearing exterior chalk/mineral paint, I've coated it with two layers of non-toxic clear lacquer so it's fine for children to have in their bedroom.
